Goal 2 and 3
2 Goal: Zero hunger - free rice
We worked on the second goal of the 2030 agenda (Zero
hunger)
The Sustainable Development Goal 2 is about creating a world
free of hunger by 2030.
The number of people going hungry and suffering from food
insecurity had been rising between 2014 and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic
that has pushed those rising rates even higher and has also exacerbated all
forms of malnutrition.
For deal with this topic we play at a game called "Freerice". Freerice is an
educational trivia game that helps you get smarter while making a difference
for people around the world. Every question you answer correctly raises 10
grains of rice for the World Food Programme (WFP) to support its work saving
and changing lives around the world.
How the site of "Global Goals" say, over the last 15 years, the number of childhood deaths has been cut in half. This proves that it is possible to win the fight against almost every disease. Still, we are spending money and resources on treating illnesses that are surprisingly easy to prevent. The new goal for worldwide Good Health promotes healthy lifestyles, preventive measures and modern, efficient healthcare for everyone.
With the Etwinning project our 5 spoke-persons with the other pupils worked on a conceptual map titled "GOOD HEALTH" in which they add some important things to be healthy (like doing sport, have a balanced diet, take care of mental health ect...)
